Jim Farrin

Jim started his firm alone, with just 20 clients in 1997. Since going on television in 2000, Jim's firm has grown to 35 attorneys, nearly 150 employees, and tens of thousands of clients - all in a state with contributory negligence; in 2014, Jim's firm was listed among INC magazine's fastest-growing private U.S. Companies. What makes his firm such a unique success story, is its success with a large number of clients having only injuries which are subjective in nature; a data driven, systematic approach is crucial to the firm's success. Due to the firm's notoriety for operating in a high-volume environment, the firm was sought to provide leadership in from one of the largest civil-rights cases in United States history: In re Black Farmers Discrimination Litigation, Case No. 08-mc-0511 (PLF) (D.D.C.). Jim played a leading role, taking a huge financial risk, and served as class counsel and as a member of the plaintiffs' steering committee. This case successfully resolved for 1.25 billion dollars, with the Court awarding over 90 million dollars which was the maximum amount of attorneys' fees.

Jim received his Juris Doctor, with honors, from Duke University School of Law. Jim also received his Bachelor of Arts, Phi Beta Kappa, in Philosophy from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
